Well, it is a new outfit, but we have had it for a while. Averianna got this sweater dress from Holland, and I think it's sized for 6 months (sizes are little different in Europe). The bottoms were falling down every time she kicked (which is ALL the time!) But it was just too cute not to get a little preview! I cannot believe how much of a little girl she is becoming! She completely melts my heart!
Just a quiet moment for Averianna -- it was a school day for Cayden and it's not too often she just gets to check out her own toys!
Just out and about with my little crew! Daddy went to get a coffee and I snapped this image of my little passengers.
Cayden always loved flying when he was a baby and Averianna is turning out to love it too!
Cayden and Averianna just love each other. It's so wonderful to see Averianna look at Cayden and give him a big smile; and it's just amazing to hear from Cayden how much he loves his little sister. I can only hope this friendship remains strong for a lifetime!

The weather is frigid here today. Apparently we are setting some records with how cold it is. There is no way I'm going outside! Cayden thought an ice cream party was in order for today, so that's what we've been doing this morning!
This is what a sneeze looks like!
I set up my camera to take a few pictures of Averianna and I this morning. It turned into so much more than that. Cayden decided he wanted to be in the picture pretty quick, and I am happy he did. After we had lunch I got Erik and Averianna to have a few pictures together too, since he had been outside all morning.
Here is a belated 2 month Averianna picture! (OK two, since you've been patient!)
Averianna didn't feel like having a nap this afternoon, so I took her upstairs and tried to get some pictures of just her!
On Monday we put up the Christmas tree! It is an "all cows" Christmas tree again this year, perhaps next year Cayden will want to do some of the other decorations we have, but the cows theme is nice and simple (for post-Christmas clean up too!). He had fun helping with the lights, and pointing out where he wanted the ornaments (I still put the most of them up). He really liked the "cow bell" ornament (it's like a normal bell, but painted with cow spots!), and jingles it when he's walking near the tree. Averianna wasn't an active participant, but I think she gets a kick out of watching her brother at work!
On Sunday we took Cayden and Averianna (who slept the entire time) to the CP Holiday Train. Since Cayden loves trains and music we thought it would be a perfect event for him. We were not wrong as he thoroughly enjoyed himself. You may not always be able to tell by these pictures (he is pretty serious about this stuff!), he was bouncing during the music, clapping with a huge grin after each song and when the train pulled out to leave he said (with a really sad face) "Train come back" (poor guy!). It was a lot of fun and definitely going to become a yearly tradition for our family!
The Holiday Train is coming down the tracks! And Cayden finally knows why we are standing around waiting!
Once the train parked, the box car opened to reveal stage for the bands.
And Averianna slept through most of it (but I wanted to include a picture so we remembered that she came!)
Santa made an appearance at the end!
Train leaving the station (it backed up and went back the way it came!)
A very tired boy got to end the night with a cookie in hand! It was a late night for him, but well worth it!
Averianna has been napping in the afternoons and by the time she wakes up it's been too dark outside to get any natural light in the house for taking pictures. So if I don't get a chance to take pictures in the morning I'm pretty much out of luck. Today however, Averianna slept in and she was awake for a bunch of the afternoon. It was OK with me because it's fun to get a few pictures in while her big brother is napping!
